Re: The Mechanarium
As soon as finals are over and done with, I'll fix the cuboid issue and give you all pods. Bear with me!

Re: The Mechanarium
Thanks for the feedback guys. There seems to be some permission trouble with the cuboid and signs etc. When I get a break from my work I'll see if I can fix it!

Sweet! I'll let you both know when I get my station sorted out. (Back at uni now so progress is slow, but getting there!)
Also, there's now a pod in your name on the A block, tanis!

Sure godavari, once I've got a station up if you give me the co-ordinates I'll see if I can get a line your way.
And as always, any mods are welcome to warp in and claim a place - no permission needed!

Re: The Mechanarium
Hehe, thanks :) I've reserved pods for those who've requested them. Of course, if you'd like a different pod that's fine, just ask! Also, moderators/contributors are free to claim any vacant pod whenever they please, including the reserved pods in the main column! Oh, and the warp is called 'Mechana...

Signing up! It runs so crap from here though. Gotta VPN through the uni network and it makes me rubberband like crazy, even with low-ping servers.

Re: You and game creation
I was really into Warcraft 3 modding at one time; to this day my two largest projects, Cruiser Command and Solar Conquest hold the 2nd and 7th highest rated spots on The Hiveworkshop.

Re: Why I'm Buying Magicka and so Should You
Just bought the game today; seems pretty fun but the multiplayer is fiddly. It crashes when I host, and most joinable games are either private or have high ping
I'll figure it out...

Re: Dwarf Fortress
Well, I've finally got the hang of this. The trick is to have the DF wiki a permanent tab in your browser whilst playing. Do a search for every. single. feature. that you want to use. It's far more comprehensive than the in-game help. (and easier to navigate) I've currently got 150 dwarves in my hum...

Re: Your nickname
My nick is just something I made up on the spot for my first online game, Freelancer. I think I was about 10/11 at the time, so I just replaced the end of Callum with 'ex' , because I thought it sounded cooler or something... :? It kind of stuck; I've never really had another username since. Tears a...

Re: dwarf fortress
Yea I took a slight interest in it when people started comparing to minecraft... I went to youtube to see if there were any example/tutorial videos...
The tutorial was 40 videos long, each lasting 8-12 minutes... My head would probably explode if I tried to play that game.

Re: EvE Online
oh well dude P4 is nice how much isk were you making ? I was making broadcast nodes that sold for about 1 million per unit, which wasnt bad money considering you can do it alongside mission running or mining. It was a heavily camped route but only 9-10 jumps from jita, so sales were quick and easy....

Re: EvE Online
I played EVE for a good few months, had a nice P4 planetary system setup in lowsec, it was good fun sneaking past the gatecamps, and I even befriended a few of the griefers. When my subscription went dry, I didn't have the will to resub, with SC2 on the go etc...
