I was wondering what are prices of sponge and obsidian are in gold,iron and diamond, anyone know fair prices?

No one really trades in sponges, you can make them easily in a cauldron.

Obsidian? Depends on how patient the person is, because that is a pain to mine.

If you go to a cauldron and throw in 2 sand, 2 dirt, and 1 leaf block, it gives you 1 sponge. So it's about as valuable as those materials.

and since leaves recently got a lot easier to get thanks to shears...

I'd say sponge is worth about as much as sandstone.

Just make the sponges yourself, honestly, no one makes them unless they plan on immediately using them.

I now have a strange urge to find a way to make sponges look nice in home design.

use them with Sand, Sandstone, White Wool and maybe Gold.

that should work
