'Allo there, I'm an Escapist lurking regular and after doing some digging (albeit next to bugger all), I stumbled across this place.
Been looking for a decent community with which to play Minecraft with for a while and I thought who better than you lot? Sadly I've already got myself updated to 1.3, so I'll just sit here and patiently wait until the Escapecraft server gets updates before joining in the fun.
I look forward to playing with you all though whenever I can.

That's good to know that you're all a friendly bunch, other MC servers I've been involved with have been remarkably pushy in terms of what you can build and out of what materials, god forbid you build what you want. It begins to wear rather thin pretty fast.
I've already brushed up on the rules so I know what to expect in terms of conduct whilst playing.
Any rough estimate on when I'll be able to join in?

Not entirely sure - it depends on whether we get an unofficial update of hMod, which we've been using in lieu of Bukkit, or when Bukkit has the plug-ins we're waiting on.

Aye, I love me some 40k, particular fan of the Dawn of War games. I'd invest in the tabletop more if I had the money for it.
I'd be all for the Chaos Gods if they didn't suck in Retribution, honestly!

yeah the last Chaos Marine Codex nerfed us... twas a sad day. and yet now the Space Marines got another codex and im still waiting for even a rumour of a les broken CSM codex...

Plus you've got a new Grey Knight codex coming. (About damn time, mind you.) So there'll be some more stomping of Chaos providing the GK don't get smashed into the dirt.
Still, would like to see a new CSM codex, what little I have of tabletop stuff is all Chaos related and it's quite underwhelming. Looks cool though.
