Yet Another New Player

Hello everyone!

Shamus (TwentySidedTale) got me hooked on MC, so it seems only fitting that I wound up here. I walked for a (game) day and a half before I found some open space and started punching trees. Soon, I met my first creeper. Another day and a half of walking back from the spawn, and I actually found the remains of my first hovel.

Soon enough, I met another creeper. This time, I was prepared, and he only half killed me. It was while I was busy trying to put things straight that #3 got me.

After my next trek through the urban landscape, I found a spot in the far north with trees and elbow room. So far, the creepers haven't got me this time. Someday I'll see some spiders to bag so I can build a bow. Ranged weapons are a Good Thing.

My name? EddieTester1066 in the game.

welcome to the server! sorry about the creepers but they only want to hug you!

and its interesting you chose an isolationist aproach. most players head for the citys.

hope your mine out there produces Diamonds!

What can I say? I'm trying to figure out what I'm building, and don't want to be any trouble.

See, already my plan to not make trouble is all shot to hell. I blame the creepers...
