Hello Escapecraft!

I've spent the last week or so searching for a fun, heavily-populated server which is not a wasteland of dirt houses and other tasteless structures. I seem to have found it!

I've been really impressed with everything I've seen so far, and I'm looking forward to becoming part of this community. Thanks for the warm welcome that I received in the chat.

As for me, I'm a grad student at North Carolina State studying computer narrative... basically I'm teaching computers to write stories. The narrative aspect of Escapecraft is one of the things that attracted me here. Most of the wok my lab does revolves around video games, so hopefully I'll have enough time to goof around on Minecraft.

the reason there arnt many dirt houses is because most setlements ban them from being in there.

Yes, we (generalisation) are horribly snobbish aesthetic enthusiasts, and no matter how many times I'm told this is not fair or equal, for some reason I just don't learn my lesson from these egalitarians.

The narrative aspect is still being worked on currently, but we do plan for it to exist.

A little late for this, but welcome! You seem like a really cool dude, and your obviously a great builder. I saw clear evidence of that when I worked on your temple/ house.
