Hooray for peer pressure!

Salut, fellow miners!
Since I've almost been playing my mandatory 35 hours, I guess it's time to actually say hi, even though I'm always surpised when I find out topics like these are actually read...
I'm a college student from Germany in his upper twenties. "Whoa", you might say (at least you do in my head), "that's pretty old for college, dude!" And you would be right.
After I spent a year as an exchange student in the U.S. I graduated late and spent almost 3 years in the German Army as an officer cadet until I dropped out because of, well, personal reasons. (Which, if you see me online, is the reason my avatar will most likely wear my old uniform.)
As of right now, I'm trying to get into music or game journalism after college. But if it works out, I'll switch majors to computer engineering.
What else... if not fueling my addiction of online gaming, I'm usually doing martial arts, trying to get my musical abilities back on track and going to concerts and festivals a lot. Used to master a D&D round, so if there's anyone just aching to talk about that nerdy stuff, go ahead, I'll surely join in.
I'm mostly the thrash and death metal kind of guy, but I claim to have a broad taste in music...
