The New Adventure - First info
Re: The New Adventure - First info
Yes, I'll have all of the maps available for download, once we shut the old server down. Not until then though.
Re: The New Adventure - First info
I hope you guys get Tina up soon... Other servers just don't have the sense of community that this place has and with the current server going away I just can't bring myself to spend time DOING anything there...

I've been going around trying to get as many achievements as possible before it's too late - discovery ones, etc.

I know I dropped off a while back, it was fun for a bit but life got in the way, and when I came back I was so far behind and all the good locations were gone hahaminnerthecat wrote:I know there are several people like myself who are waiting for the release of TNA before returning. Hopefully it's release will revitalize our community somewhat. Maybe even attract new players!
At least I can get in on ground zero this time So pumped!

This week is what we're aiming for. Kindy is just finishing up some admin work, and that's really about it.

I had a go at making an unofficial trailer......
Nothing breathtaking or amazing but I'm happy with it.

Not a bad trailer, brickmaster! Apart from the fragmented sentences that throw my grammatical OCD off, I think that does a decent job of (I hate to use the term) "hyping up" TNA.
Also, for reference, if you want to embed a YouTube URL onto the forums, only copy the part of the link between the first "=" and the last "&" (If it's there).
In the case of your link, you would only copy the highlighted parts as illustrated on this picture:

Will there still be a issue with reigniting portals? It was most annoying to have a portal go down to have the exit in a different spot when its relit....Tulonsae wrote:In addition to the 1:3 ratio for nether, I've reduced the distance between nether portals that go to "new" portals in the nether. My testing showed it was a really large distance before, and I made it half of that. So it's still a lot, but much more reasonable.
Also, you will still not be able to create portals in the nether. You must create them in the overworld and then it will place (or use) one in the netherworld.

Before we take down survival for good (which will be in a month or so, we'll get a more firm date on that soon), we will save the maps and make them available for download. You will be able to play with them via single player from that point on.
