First off, there* Sti. Secondly, will wither bosses stay enclosed in a confined area if they are spawned inside one? Lastly, will it show the server if you killed a wither boss like it does with an enderdragon?

They should, block breaking abilities for withers are disabled, they only cause damage to players.

Keep in mind the markers aren't totally done yet (still loads more to do and to fix up). In the meantime, if anyone has any requests, see me in #mine or game.

So if you see me around game doing weird adventuring, now you know!

ALSO, an extra bit. Name your stuff in game. I can't stress how much this is important. If you ever want your town or your massive cool structure marked on the map, you must name it in game. Thank you.

Due to an incredibly rare derp of enormous magnitude by a certain unnamed member of staff, we had to roll back the survival map. This means that anything changed on the survival map "worlds" (terra, fyra, borjan, future shift, sky) was returned to its state at 12:42 server time today. At most, players would have lost approximately 7 minutes worth of building.

Other worlds (creative, engima, toltecs) were not affected. Players' inventories were not affected.

I know that tulonsae already knows about this, but I lost my enderchest inventory when the server updated. I know that there's probably not much to be done, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this, or if it's a derp on my end, so that I could maybe correct it or at least avoid it.

And yeah, thanks for updating, and now I can stalk people on dynmap, wooo!!!

just posting this here for all to see, will have a real post up when I know for sure the date/time, but I'm planning on some server hardware maintenance on July 2nd, Tuesday, all day. This will mean that both the website and the minecraft servers will be down. We are hoping to have a temporary 1.6 server up at that time for you to have fun in. connection for the temp 1.6 server will be escapecraft.com port 26565

This maintenance does not involve any real upgrades to the servers or minecraft, just me doing some long over due work.

We'll have a temporary webchat/IRC going as well, to post up updates, etc.

Let me know if you have any questions.

So, I've been trying to get on the server lately, but even when I downgrade my game to 1.6.2 via the launcher (new profile>release 1.6.2) I can never connect to the server. Anybody know the reason why this is happening? Did I not downgrade correctly?

I think we're on 1.6.4 and not 1.6.2, so the OP may be a bit inaccurate.
