reclaiming property?

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

reclaiming property?

Post by lemiel14n3 » 25 Dec 2011, 15:39

This is a combination of curiosity and concern, but I feel I should ask.

I have been away from the game for a while, (from a combination of school concerns, a busy schedule, and a lack of update patience) and I returned to find the estate I had built had been 'claimed' by a "superpoo09" and another sign asking about "abandonment claim"

I do realize I am at fault here, I had left, but my hopes are mainly around the fact that everything I built is almost entirely unchanged, with the exception of "creeper damage" and it's only been a month since the abandonment issue came up.

The ramparts stand tall, the estate is unchanged, the little garden I had built for the benefit of passers-by remains surprisingly intact. even the glass tower built to over look everything, stands as a monument to defy Ozymandias.

I would, of course contact this 'superpoo' fellow, but he doesn't seem to be a member of the server, and I can't contact his through these forums.

Any help, any word, even in the negative, would be appreciated

Id say if this ever happened then you should always leave a sign or post on the forums that your going to be away for a certain amount of time. Im sure you can put a counter claim up :P

Another option is to buy (or use your free vet) cuboid for your property. We tend to look at that when deciding whether to allow an abandonment claim.

Some users place signs when they go away or post in the Discussion area of the forum when they plan to be gone for awhile.

In any case, please post in the support forum. Include the coords of the property.

Generally, these cases are so rare that they're handled by mod discretion. And depending on the particulars, your place may be restored and returned to you. Or perhaps an offer to move a copy elsewhere for you.
