We got a slight horse problem...

So, today, Wtd, foxes, and I were merrily strolling through escpaecraft, when we realized that we weren't getting any horse spawns near our claim. There were, however, about 20 horses on an island that have been there for the past week.
When we tried riding them, we were told that we could not kill/ride them because they were owned by someone else.
There were a lot of them, and none of the horses were near the claims of the person that owned them, so we decided some alternative methods of extermination... We tried dousing them in lava, suffocating them in a wall, and drowning them in water. All proved futile against the mighty horses of escapecraft.
After these failures, we alerted the staff members that were on at the time, and quickly found that they encountered the same problems. We tried burning them, blowing them up, drowning, hitting, suffocating, dropping from heights, and more. All attempts were failures.
Eventually, we were left with this...
We soon yielded to the horses, and decided to move them to a top-secret location so that they can no longer stop horse spawns. After moving them to their new home, we quickly fortified and sealed them so that they could not spread throughout the world of escapecraft. And thus, we were saved, once again, by our protectors, Deri and daemon.
But seriously, this is a problem...
