Right now, me (Fuzz422365117), Joskeuh, and luke2006 are working on the Spleef World Cup Arena. It should be done by the end of the week. We are unsure of a date for the tournament, but It's probably going to be soon.

i would like to help out aswell, just give me the coords and what i need to bring

Co-ords are at X: 363 Z: -277 We are in need of wood and tools.

i have seen the arena, so the roof and floor still needs to be done
i have been thinking about some concepts for the floor,but that is for later.
So if i have to work on the roof , what does it need to look like?
and does it need tribunes?

Ummm... I'm actually not sure what the roof is supposed to look like... luke's been working on it...

We are almost done! All we have left is the redstone wiring to connect the [Bridge] signs, and we have to finish the roof.

Okay, I think we are done... The only bad thing is that I made a bridge to fill the arena with dirt when we're done with a match, but It's too far across... So no bridges. I guess we will just have to fill the arena with dirt after each match by hand.

Bridges can be up to 30 blocks in length. You can figure out the right places to set the signs after a match, manually place dirt along those lines, then place the signs in the appropriate places to speed up reconstruction.

hey for this arena i could help with the bridge problem, and I was wandering if you could post rules for this tournament cause the last one went south without rules, and finally how will teams be set up, like a city have a team, or individual teams.

Yes we should discuss that in the board sooner or later

I sort-of-kind-of like the idea of the teams being based on cities.

I was also playing with the idea to put flags on the roof.
is this ok for you?

Flags? What flags?

And if not the roof, what about the road outside the arena? We could have a row of flags along there, waving in a Westerly wind.

I like that aswell; we could even let everyone make their own country's flag.
With a maximum size of course, we don't want huge flags

Anyway are you planning on making the Board HQ soon?
Or aren't we going to do that at all?

I like the idea of each city's flags put somewhere by the stadium... And I will try to make the board HQ when I get back from vacation (unless luke wants to make it before then...). (I should be back by the 20th)

Yeah, if you contact me while I am on I will feel free to help, by the way, do you guys use auto reset, or is it maual, because I can make it automatic if you want. But this all is just if you haven't fixed it yet. I just recently got finished with Undercity's spleef arena. PM me back if you need help because I don't check in on posts frequently.

I may have a go at fixing it soon.

We may want to wait until an update, however, before we start a competition. The lag with block destruction would kill a game of spleef.

No need. I'm done with the bridges. Hahsime helped me. The control room is behind the steel doors.
