Next Week on the Shift...

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Next Week on the Shift...

Post by haxxorzd00d » 19 Mar 2011, 20:23

So, it's clear to me that this little server of mine's got quite the following, which means it's time for me to start taking care of it. I have a 'to do list' of sorts that I'll be endeavouring to work through over the coming week.

- Turn on/fix mobs
- Get the Nether running
- Update my site (see main info thread)
- Add some sort of fast-travel system
- Introduce an economy system (shops, traders, etc.)
- Enable players to acquire sponges (shops or cauldrons - or both)
- Write more documentation - rules, help, etc
- Get to work establishing the narrative
- Throw together a teaser video summarising the plot/goals

Sometimes I lather my body with Vaseline and pretend I'm a slug.

Speaking of the Nether, you know what would be hilarious? If the Nether had similar geography to vanilla Minecraft. It's like, the normal world is all weird and the normally strange geography of the Nether is just... normal. This probably won't happen, but it's food for thought.
