Awesometon

One day in chat, I mentioned I wanted to build my own town.
Blackadder asked what it would be named, and when I mentioned I didn't have one (I didn't even have a landgrab), he told me that I had to call it
Awesometon.

'Now, how am I going to live up to THAT?' Thought I, as despite the length of time I've spent here, I'm just a little player in a map of giant, TNT spawning Destructo-players.

So I thought 'I shall see if any of the fine escapian citizens shall wish to aid me on my quest!'

I've bullied Val into agreeing to help out with building/materials etc, but what I need is
IDEAS
And maybe materials but those can be gotten easily.

So send in your plans and layouts and wondrous designs for homes and buildings! Most importantly we need a Town Hall for trade/law/show-offing.
All those who contribute will have their name enshrined in said Town Hall, and the best designs will be given the opportunity to see those designs built, and to be the first to make their homes.

I have two tentative land-claims, not too far from spawn if we have an air-highway and/or rail system.

The second land area looks better for the town.
The first would be rather close by to where Mill City is so being away from other towns will allow room to expand if needed.

I'm to tired to give ideas but hopefully the suggestion on where to build will help... perhaps?

To make 'Awesometon' more awesome than Solar City will be very hard. Why not come live in Solar and help me expand it and make it even more awesome instead :D

I think I'm personally leaning towards site 1, as there's lots of room to the east and south from where I've started- and it's far easier to access.

Or I might have one site for awesome town and one for an estate!

Ah, that's pretty far away- I'm building towards the northern end of the peninsula i circled, so there probs won't be overlap.
