Escapecraft

To celebrate how awesome escapecraft is, I have decided to build an awesome project: Mount Escapemore! This will have the faces of significant people on it, if they choose to accept this honor. Since faces are 8x8, that means 64 blocks for the surface, and i want it to be jutting out 3 blocks, for a total of 96 blocks per head. There will be a maximum of 3 faces to start, but i am planning on 5. I already decided on two people i want to do for this: Sneakypie and Wokka. Those two will need to send me a message or a reply on this post to confirm their acceptance of this honor. I have yet to decide a place to build this, but I will be posting updates for this project. Once a location is decided, there will be a donation chest,because it will take me a very long time without donations. What I need is wools, dyes, tools, and smooth stone. Also, in order to do this, i will need an image of the skin, preferably in the flat layout that you use when editing your skin. If you want to reccomend someone for on mount escapemore, or want to be on it yourself, just reply. Mods will be the only ones to be on it, so no normal players, such as myself, will be decipted onto the mountain, only people who have proven their worth to the comunity. Finally, I would like to use my one free cuboid for veterancy on this once it is finished.

P.S. any donations that are not used on the project will not be kept by me if they are not used. All leftovers will be distributed back among the community.

Skin

It's probably messed up as I can never view it myself anymore, but there is a statue of my likeness in the Art Park. I can't take a screen of it until I'm off work.

Ok, so sneaky confirmed. Furd, you are not a mod, but i might make an exception IF there is any room left over. But you two both forgot the crucial thing: i need to see your skin layout, otherwise i cant make you guys on the thing as perfect as possible: remember, post your skin on here or in a private message to me so i can do this.

Tip: Build it out of dirt. They love it when you do that.

A) he accepts and

B) he stays 100 blocks away from the construction site. I still distinctly remember what happened to my house in aurora.

You do not need to add extra layers of wool on the inside of the faces just have cobblestone or keep it empty

That's why i needed smooth stone, so that way it looks better while under construction. And my previous numbers were correct, also.

ill donate some Lazuli blocks and a few stacks of smooth stone.

This is a really cool idea, why hasnt someone thought of it earlier

im afraid my own Lapis is going towards an idol of Tzeentch so il see if i can spare any once its done.

on another note i highly suggest making Blackadders idol out of flaming netherrack.

Thanks for all the support so far. The people going on it are now official: Sneaky, Wokka, Blackadder, Mountbatten, and furdabip. Also, the location has been picked. It is in Fyra, at X: -177 Z: -267,and you have to take the east railway to the site, and get off after the giant wooden floating house. The donation chest is set up, and all materials nearby are mine. If you take any, i will consider it griefing. Just a warning. Also, Everything but the stone needs to be sheared off, and if you choose to help, put the materials in the donation chest after. Thanks.

Someone has built a second floor to my shack, and a cactus "trash can". I appreciate the effort, but only come here to check on the progress, donate, and help shear of the dirt/sand/gravel. I will be doing all of the building as i see fit, and you don't need to build anything, so please don't. If you have a reccomendation as to something to build, tell me and i'll consider. Don't build something without me knowing. Thanks.

Unfortunatly, the project has recieved a major setback due to a landclaim violation, and a booby trap set up on the violation that i got killed by when i went to investigate. I have lost a lot of smoothstone, and some lapis i had found, but not put in a chest yet, not to mention some diamonds and diamond and iron tools. Project now direly needs smoothstone and lapis, not to mention more tools and armor for my protection.

Thanks to a VERY kind donation of diamond tools and the assistance of yr04sbailey, the road is now built. Also, there is a new town behind mount escapemore. For more info on the town, go see the forum page.
