Usually my dad doesn't yell at me for staying up past 9:30, but to those who I/my dad annoyed/made permanently deaf, I apologize.

I'd suggest enabling push-to-talk though, to avoid future incidents.

Or maybe it was a different mod, but as I recall it had something to do with securing a door which leads to my chest. My bad. ^_^

But yeah, listen to Dupe.
There's a feature in vent options that you can "push a button" to talk instead of it being voice activated.

I dunno if mutes stay even after you logoff, but when he logs back on, he may be muted. wokka's shouldn't be fed after midnight, and you should never yell in his ear.
Also, just a bit of advice from another parent, don't yell at your dad, its rude, impolite, and in my house, would have gotten you a spanking and grounding...
