Escapecraft

So i'm sure everyones heard by now that pistons are coming to minecraft. In response to this I got a mod which puts pistons in so i could experiment with them. I've come up with a few things they could be used to do in minecraft possibly with falsebook

1. R.A.T. (Rapid Air Transport) Basically this is just where you get a series of pistons to shoot you vast distances quite quickly. I'm not sure if it will work when its actually integrated but to get higher/further you put 4 pistons below you and then stand in the middle and press the button

2.Creeper-resistant bridges. Using falsebook and a slight clock you could produce an automatic bridge that, when damaged by creepers/ explosions etc, repairs itself quickly

3. Lava bridges. One for vallorn here. What this does is use pistons to shoot sand blocks in the air and then form a bridge to your house or fortress or whatever. I've seen many videos on YouTube of this

4.Alternate Mob pits/torture rooms. Basically its a glass pit that has pistons at the bottom and a switch so that when a mob or a person falls in you can make them take damage by repetitively flinging them in the air. Good for creeper payback i find

Anyone else got ideas? Ive seen a cobble generator combined with pistons to make an autobridge for ssp.

also im going to build a giant bouncing machine that bounces players off walls for hours.

I'm looking forward to a piston trap that bounces my victimsvolunteers around endlessly like a pinball.

couple of things to consider. Fall damage still applies as i found out the hard way and ive managed to make an automatic cart rollercoaster

my next TNT cannon will have a pistol mag type loading system with pistons
