Escapecraft

Hi i am hoping to join the server with a friend and i did not know about the server before i updated my minecraft for 1.6.6. when i try to connect it says server outdated and i understand why this is but i was wondering when the server may be updated or is there anything i need to do to access the server.

Its a case of you have to wait, unless you got a backup..... The server will be updated when all plugins are compatible, and we have to wait on plugin authors for this.

It's annoying but it is for the best. If we didnt wait for the plugins to update we wouldnt be able to offer you the best minecraft experience and we would be at the mercy of griefers. Thanks for waiting though because we will update as soon as possible!

In the meantime why not look around the forums and read the server rules.

always nice to see a new face but we cant update until the pluggins are back or... well its not pretty.

There is no such thing as Caketown.

Simply put fellow Escapist, if you updated there's 2 options:

1) Wait until our pluggins are updated and all the bugs are fixed

Or

2) Downgrade by googling the previous versions of your minecraft .bin file and replace the one currently in your folder by it. Also, you would need to have the "new" launcher in order for it to offer a "yes" or "no" on the update, in which case, you'll choose NO.
