Escapecraft

Server will go down at approximately noon on Wed Thursday Friday (CDT/Server time) for maintenance. We are going to attempt the upgrade to 1.6.6. If you have a backup of 1.5, feel free to join the server when I announce it in the webchat. IF you do not have a backup or don't know how to use it, please do not update unless you see this post updated or the Server changes thread update. I don't want to hear any whining about people not being able to login if we have to rollback to 1.5.

We'll be in test mode initially, to verify everything is working, I'll announce updates here and in chat.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Postponing one day, got busy at work, sorry folks.

We aren't done testing everything in this version of bukkit, so we are delaying again.

Well whatever it takes wokka. You can bet I got my fingers crossed it'll work when we upgrade to 1.6.6... or at the very least the server won't explode into flames from attempting to make it work

Well, we could update now, but everyone would die when they logged in, losing your inventory. I'd rather that not happen to everyone, so we are continuing to work through the issues.

where are instructions on doing a backup again?

No word back from the bukkit folks on the bugs, once something gets done, I'll repost this and we'll give it a try.
