TNT just feels like the coward's way out to me. I've taken close to 3000 torches from the PVP world, I've robbed stores of iron and diamond, I've destroyed airships, several castles, and bases beneath the ground and water. I like to get personal and rip structures apart block by block. Of course, none of this matters anymore because auto-lock has killed every aspect of PVP.

You're the reason new PvP is going to be no build :)

I'd be more willing to fight head on if it weren't for the fact that I can dump an entire stack of arrows on someone without hitting a single time and then they turn around and instantly kill me with their sword from twenty blocks away. Believe me, I love PVP, but it's just not feasible when somebody runs in place for a few seconds then teleports twenty blocks forward and you can never hit them. I don't know if it's minecraft in general that's lagging, the server, or maybe it's even me. In WoW I have more than 100,000 honorable kills on my main character with another 100,000 HKs spread across my alts, I placed in the top .5% of arena teams for the Gladiator title, I got 2200 in every bracket for the Arena Master title, I completed every single battleground achievement for the Battlemaster title(winning 500 BGs was part of the requirements), I raised all my battleground faction reputations to Exalted for the Conqueror title(I had to win another 1000~ BGs for this), and I have an entire folder filled with games like this:

I've never had such issues in PvP, so that's on your end.

That's weird because I don't have any issues with other online games.

This thread, in a nutshell, is why Anarchy maps are bad for pvp.

Oh come on! People don't have to build! Don't take away the freedom to choose whether or not you want to build in a cannibalistic world, just disable TNT!

New PVP map should be a build map and i say this because then you can have minor strongholds, Which I thing personally improve the fun in PVP by tons, The thing that ruins it are signs locking etc, I found a diamond block in PVP with a sign on it saying "HAHA" And i was not happy.

Lath is and has placed a lot of work into this new pvp world that is being made. And there is a very good reason why it will not be a build world... I don't want to say why though since I don't want to step on Lath's toes when it comes to this but once you do get to see what it is I am sure you will be very happy with it.

Besides... TF2 does not let you build anything in the world (inb4 sentry)

Incidentally, vehicle BG's don't really count for anything.
