This is an idea I've been working and I think it would boost the competitive attitude of gamers with the community and be a great way to show what you've achieved within the server. I will add more badges according to demand,

To get you image code to work just add a "[" to the start of each img code.

Can't we just photoshop them, like the thing in my signature? It would be hard to tell who actually did something.

No it wouldn't, if the signature is under the players name others are bound to know who the achievement belongs to.

If they were more complex is design people would find it harder to imitate/edit them. I'd also suggest making them smaller, the current designs look like they'd be quite intrusive on the forum.

Get a standard size but make it small. Say 25x25 pixels. Doesn't sound like much but you can make rather complex icons at that size

Some forum software has built-in awards systems (or plugins to add that functionality). I would imagine that our admins are way too busy to worry about implementing that sort of thing, though.

you could do it as a Title like

Weekly Event Winner

like your Site Contributor title Sach.

I agree with Jake, though.

Yeah I thought we were pretty keen on keeping signatures and pictures within them under control, I don't think we need these badge pictures adding more complexity with this possible issue.

If people want to make badges about accomplishments, feel free.

Just know that there are limitations for signatures, and generally you would like them smaller and sleeker so they wouldn't really crowd everything up.

I'll make a mock-up for myself to show what I mean later on today.

Yeah they have some high quality fonts on there. All free.

Personally i thought the 'PvP' wasnt necessary, so i made both.

That could have been worded a bit better than crappy, but i actually agree, there IS a disruption around the letters in my signature. However it doesnt appear in the 2 Lab Rats banners i made... odd... Ill try to fix it. Thanks for pointing it out.
EDIT: odd. Its not there in my save, must be a bad upload.
EDIT EDIT: Checked the URL of where i uploaded it to, and the disruption IS there. Now ive fixed it.
