TEXTURE PACK CHALLENGE!

All right everybody! I've recently been bored and have 2 spare diamond blocks so i have a challenge for you all!

Make a texture pack! It's got to have a genre like Sci-fi or fantasy and cant be boring!

There will be 2 winners, 3 runners up and there are several categories for judging

There will be 3 Judges. Me, a trusted friend and hopefully a mod if one would like to volunteer. If you want to apply to be a judge then message me! We dont want anyone to make a texture pack for Lord specifically for example so that he would give more points

Creativity /10
Ease of use /10
RTG (how Relative To the Genre it is) /10

You will get bonus points for making available in different resolutions (easiest if you vector it) 0 extra points for 1 resolution 2 points for each other resolution.

If you manage to do all the mobs then thats an extra 5 points

A secret catagory is here that has an extra 5 points but your not allowed to know that yet :D

Thats a maximum of 50 points

Good luck!
(Protip: Dont use paint. It will mess up redstone torches etc)

I'm going to give this a go. I was planning on doing a texture pack anyways, and this is more incentive.

Also, to all other people who enter: I suggest Paint.net or possibly GIMP.

EDIT: Forgot to ask, when is the end of the contest?

Ok. This is quite hard btw. Trying to make a texture look good close up and far away, while making it tile nicely with other blocks.... it's difficult.

Sorry, there's no way I'm going to be able to get this done for a couple weeks. Doesn't look like anyone else is trying though, so I guess it doesn't matter. Thanks for giving me the incentive to finally start a texture pack though. :D

Yeah, it will take at least another 2 weeks. I switched to do a 32x32 pack, since 16x16 is limiting what I want to do too much.

if you were to make another contest i would happily enter, it sounds fun re designing all the textures :), i only just found this and would love to do it :)
I was searched by a Community Support Officer, must tell everyone to make me seem badass....

should ask wokka or someone to put in on the main page, cos this could actually be quite a big competition :)
