I'm arbitrarily promoting you to a project manager (unless there are objections?). This will be your first project to oversee. Put it near the end of the wall to the south west, next to the sea.

That's a fine looking building, did you design it Tanis?
Orange and white, but not quite right.

A Good Day.
See previous post with same title.
Same information within it, except this is of my own free will and decision.
Anyone who questions why I'm doing such a thing, meet me in a dark alley at midnight, tell your friends and family that you will never see them again, and optionally, bring your own knife.
Laters.

@ttw If you are worried about there being religious friction due to it, people who are upset can make establishments for their own religions.

Re: Branchscape
Oh, no I completely know that. It just surprised me because no one in br came off as very religious, but I've talked to Tanis ingame about it. Just looked at it the wrong way.
And question about yggy, are we clearing just the trees, or are you planning to dig up the ground....
@tanis sorry forgot to update op, will do tomorrow.

Re: Branchscape
Well I personally want the church because of the architectural opportunities it provides. If we could make an epic cathedral like random's, that would be amazing!
Also I am going to say yggy from now on.

The original design for the church calls for cobblestone, but personaly I think cobble looks horrible so unless anyone obects I'm making an executive deshion to change the cobble to stone bricks (it just looks a hell of alot better)
It seems all of my signature and avatar has failed, I will fix as soon as I can!

We are flattening all the ground to the level that the 50 block lines of sand are at and then we will construct a wall in a 50 block radius circle around the center.Tothewhat wrote: And question about yggy, are we clearing just the trees, or are you planning to dig up the ground....

In the ravine project, I'd like someone to take over and put plots in it and whatnot with the end goal being it looking something like this:

I'd like yggdrasil designs for townhall and other basic functionary buildings to be nordic. Something along these lines:

My sources are private, but I do encourage you to follow that urge. I need people to build these things.
Re: Branchscape
However if you are me, you can make cobble look good and not be forced to remove it from your cottage in br :) It is just when you use primarily cobble that it is ugly

I have a cobble roof on my Seascape house. No other good roof material that worked.

Re: Branchscape
Cobble can add a lot to a buildings aesthetic value, the key is to use it sparingly! It's actually one of my favorite materials, but it can look terrible if used wrong.
Orange and white, but not quite right.
Re: Branchscape
I believe I actually made a rule in the Frost Rules about no large cobble cubes... might have removed it but I'm positive I had it at some point. Large cobble cubes are the worst thing you can do with cobble. If you don't have many resources except cobble and you want to make some mob towers, add some extra trim with another block, like the stone spirals in my twin mob towers in Fyra. Makes a world of a difference :)

There are many large monotonous cubes in Frost which don't look very good. The fact that one or two were cobble and now are wood makes no difference that they don't look good.
