I take two paces forward and two to the right.
If I can I cast rock shield upon the orc to the side of the cheiftan else I do nothing,

Also, I do need to step a bit forward... So I do step to the right, but instead of moving back I will step forward just enough to get into range so I can use my Fire Arrow. I had a bit of a derp and thought I could move backwards and shoot.

The party looks at the monkey holding a gun, then at each other, they pickup a nearby bard lying on the floor and hit the monkey till it is unconscious.

Darktaint attacks a spearman with his broadsword (a feat would have cost you one square of movement)
Wildwill attacks a spearman with his shortsward
Feats:
Vallorn casts fear on one of the spearmen. Vallorn is now down to 45 mana
Milo uses fire arrow on the orc chieftain, dealing normal damage but not igniting the target. Milo is now down to 50 stamina
@Wildwill: I don't normally give player advise, but you're in a lot of danger seperated from the group like that. Tank class or not if you get surrounded that HP bar goes down quick.
@Tehbeard: Rock shield is still on cooldown. See OP for details.
@Milo: Could you please redo your turn as the yellow rogue
@Any mod: Could somebody clear up some of this avatar discussion? it's making it very hard to sort out everyone's moves

and Jake... what happens if we cast something like Rock Shield on a square occupied by an enemy? does it shove them around or cause damage or what?

For the record you can have multiple feats/spells per turn, but each addition one after the first cost 50% more mana/stamina. If you don't have enough mana/stamina then it will drain your hp instead.
You can't cast it on an occupied tile. You're basically just erecting impassible terrain to prevent surrounds and create choke points. If you want to find an advanced use for it; try using it to block line of sight so that one of your rogues can launch an ambush.vallorn wrote:woo supporting magic!

Are you sure? That makes it harder for enemies to attack your allies, but they can still attack you. Right now you guys probably need to be pulling back and spamming heals.Wildwill002 wrote:I use the Taunt feat. Like a boss.

The orcs surround the two fighters out in front. The Warlock moves forawrd to use his beam spell. One of the spearmen attempts to get out of the way but it rooted by fear and gets caught in the blast.
Attacks:
Two Orc bandits and a spearman attack Wildwill from 3 sides. They all deal normal damage.
The chieftain and one bandit attack tehbeard from either side.
Feats
The warlock uses beam, which passes through 3 targets. The spearman in front is killed by friendly fire, Darktaint receives normal damage, and Vallorn receives reduced damage for being out of the spell's optimum range.

Heal is only 10 mana. Given that two party members are on the brink of death it might be worth casting mulitple times. Just remember that it costs one movement point per use.vallorn wrote: also i move forward 1 and right 1 then cast Heal on taint.
(10 mana for one use, 25 mana for two uses, 45 mana for 3 uses, 60 mana for four uses etc)
