I kinda did. I don't think I recall 697 ever doing anything bad so I had my suspicions.

And so there came a time, when the Prophet got off his lazy ass, and decided to write more, no longer able to ignore the visions of Escapia's future. War was on the horizon...

Last Time...
After responding to a sudden Griefer attack late one night, the Escapian Empire was in fear. They had held off attacks before, but their enemies were getting stronger each day. The Empire sent out a small fleet to find other nations and ask for help, but an attack on the fleet delayed their journey. Finally, the explorers made the grim discovery that neighbouring Empires were crumbling to the hands of Griefers.
At this time, Lord Louis Mountbatten confronted a notorious Griefer, known shortly as Proz. With negotiations and deceit, Mountbatten had Proz helping them in their fight against Griefers, providing information and translations, but Proz's demands quickly grew. After Proz requested the VCLB, Louis had no choice but to illegally retrieve it for him. All would have gone well had it not been for Proz anonymously tipping Sneaky off about the theft. Sneaky, not realising who it was going after the trap or why, found Louis and arrested him.
Realising that Louis key to the war against Griefers, Sneaky refused to jail him, but knew that he needed a good reason for the people. With no other choice, Sneaky lied to his Empire, stating that a change of power had been planned for a while, and that Louis was doing a security check without Sneaky knowing, as Sneaky no longer had full power. With that, he officially resigned, and passed his crown onto Wokka.
Later, Proz deciphered a message for Louis, explaining that LeeTowler, an escaped prisoner, had kidnapped Milo. He offered a meeting with Taint on the one condition that Taint come alone.
CUT, however, sent a large number of undercover agents with Taint, who were quickly discovered by Towler's men, resulting in no information being given.
Shortly after this, a Mentor, known now simply as Prisoner 697, Griefed a small part of an Escapian town, resulting in his arrest. The act seemed out of character for him, but many suspected it was due to anger built up by the arrest and banishment of previous Leader, Gigem.
Around the same time, Louis confronted Proz in rage about tipping Towler off about the CUT Agents being at the meeting with Taint. Proz admitted to nothing, before deciding that he would no longer help Mountbatten.
Proz was later moved from solitary prison to a more public cell with other inmates.

For six months, the Empire continued with rising tensions. Wokka, Louis and the other Leaders all struggled to find Milo, but to no avail. Griefer attacks were becoming more severe and common, and Vallorn's requests to form a small team to take on the Griefers had been declined multiple times, due to the fear of losing Leaders and other valuable members of the Empire.
The Griefer attack hit home, however, when the Griefers found their way around the Cuboida spell. Using the Nether as a realm to travel under the borders of Escapia, they created a portal, thus allowing them instant access to the Escapian Empire. In response to this, the Leaders and Mentors set up a patrol around the Nether, resulting in another large battle. The Escapians managed to hold off the Griefers again, but their defences were weakening.

Shortly after this, Invunarble, a new Agent of CUT, met with Notch, founder of Craftmine, only to discover that he was a fake. It was quickly determined that there had been a security breach in Mojang, resulting in false identities across the lands.

At the same time, Prisoner 697 was struggling to socialise with 325 - Proz. Eventually, he befriended Proz and set up an escape plan. With inside men, including Ghost and Louis backing him up, 697 was able to escape with Proz, resulting in a massive bounty on both their heads across the Empire.
Meanwhile, Stalke received an offer from Beard-Tec for the seaside town in Tekland, Seahaven. Stalke quickly declined the offer, but after hearing that Welwyn was trying to convince him to sell it, discovered that it was not Beard-Tec, but rather Escapia itself that wanted control of Seahaven for industrial and military advances in the war on Griefers.
Realising he had little choice, Stalke agreed to sell Seahaven to Mountbatten, who, unbeknownst to Stalke, had already prepared an army to take it.
As the hunt for Proz and 697 continued, Ghost was sent to cover their tracks to ensure their escape, while Iron was hot on the trail, using hunting techniques. Proz and 697 arrived at Towler's base which was built into a small mountain range in the middle of a forest. Fang reached the base, but was quickly surrounded by Towler's Griefers.

At this point, Mountbatten's plan was put into motion. Half his army approached Seahaven, ready to take it peacefully, but the people of Seahaven, who had not been told of the sale, believed the army were trying to invade. They fought back, but were quickly defeated, forcing them to retreat. As they attempted to retreat, Zinrius ordered the burning of their buildings and ships.
Meanwhile, Mountbatten accompanied the other half of his army to Towler's base, as 697, who had been working for them all along, had revealed the location. Mountbatten and Tyrese quickly arrested Towler and Proz, pleased with the result.

At the same time, Random, Agent of CUT, who had been working with his partner, Invunarble, to find out what was going on with Mountbatten and his connection to 697, was arrested by CUT, after referencing files he legally was not allowed to see. Inv was horrified, but Vallorn warned him not to try anything stupid.
Back in Escapia, the events of the previous days were summarised, but confusion arose when Zinrius explained to Afly that he had never been to Seahaven.

At Mojang, Notch, infuriated with the recent battles and Griefer attacks, finally decided that 'Phase Two' had to be activated. Warned by Jeb that Phase Two was not yet ready, Notch initiated what was known only as 'The Horde'.

And so, The Prophet sat down, and began to write again, in...

"For he's a jolly good fellooooooow! And so say all of us!" The crowd cheered, before placing the cake in front of Ghost. Ghost smiled. "Thanks guys," he said, as the Escapians all sat around laughing. In what was one of Escapia's darkest times yet, the smallest event such as a birthday made all the difference. One observing the party wouldn't know the horrors that the Empire had faced and were yet to face.
And yet, Ghost was unhappy. He smiled, but only for the sake of those around him. He felt horrible. He didn't know what had happened to 697, who had spent months locked away in order to arrest Proz and Towler, and he knew there was still war on the horizon. With the Battle of Seahaven being on everyone's mouths, things were even worse. Zinrius' account was to be told today, and the Empire would decide what his punishment would be. Mountbatten had been working tirelessly since his return from the arrests. He had barely slept in days. The survivors of Seahaven were still missing, maybe dead, and yet... Ghost was here, surrounded by friends. He felt guilty. Horribly guilty.
"Hip hip," Foxes yelled.
"Hooray!"
"Hip hip,"
"Hooray!"
"Hip hip,"
"Hooray!"
Ghost sighed, and took his slice of cake.

Collin stretched his arms out, looking through the window of his small cliff-side cottage. Nothing for miles, just the way he liked it. He loved Escapia, but he was a quieter man. He couldn't live in big Empires. He had his family, and that was enough. He poured himself a glass of water and stepped over to his chest, pulling out some diamonds.
Every month, a man would deliver enough supplies to last until he came around next month, for the sum of a few diamonds. He would always arrive the same time, never late, never early.
Collin opened the door, expecting to see the man waiting, but instead found nothing. Confused, he stepped outside, still holding the diamonds, and found nothing in the valleys.
The days passed, and Collin checked his door each time, but still nobody showed up. On the fifth day, Collin knew something had to be done. This land was no good for farming, and they were fast running out of food. He armed himself with a few basic tools and supplies, and took off to the nearest town.

"So this is where we part ways, old friend," Stalke said, shaking Tanis' hand. "Thank you."
"For what?"
"For fighting for us. For protecting Seahaven."
Tanis shook his head. "It was all I could do." Tanis stepped off the boat, onto Escapian land. "Where will you go, Stalke?"
"I'll find a place to settle down."
Stalke sailed away, waited until he was far enough away so that nobody would notice the boat, and then set it on fire. He slowly made his way to the edge of the ship and leaped into the water, before turning to watch the boat burn. No evidence. Then, he began his slow swim back to land.

"You damn no-good kids and yer bloody pranking. Go back to where-ever-the-hell you live!" Skunk yelled as he made his way to the door. "I ain't openin' this door. I get it. I'm Australian. You can stop with the bloody mocking acce- Stalke?"
The door opened slowly, and Stalke, soaked and exhausted, stepped into Skunk's house. "Stalke... What's going on? I thought-"
"I'll explain in a moment... Do you have any dry clothes?"

Sti fell to his knees, a wave of nostalgia and horror washing over him. Escapia. Exitus. His first true home in the Escapian Empire. It was daylight, and the town seemed empty, but he knew by night, that would all change. Quickly, he made his way to the justice court, before breaking away at one of the large columns with a pickaxe. The stone broke away quickly, creating a hole small enough for him to fit through. Here, Sti found the secret hollowed out room with a lift leading up to the main, hidden court. Deciding that this would do, he set up camp, before leaving again, armed with his sword, to reflect on his memories of the place.
He climbed over the cobble wall and found a stone building marked as 'Beltom's Fort'. Next was a brick house... 'Collin and Amy's House'. A tear breached Sti's eye. The memories came rushing back. He looked ahead to see the massive statue of Sneaky, still holding his sword proud, unscathed by time. To his left, the 'E' for Escapia was lit up by torches. Sti sighed as the sun went down. He would return in the morning. There were many memories to remember.

"Zinrius," Spy read from a sheet of paper, "you have been accused of ordering the supposedly unnecessary burning of Seahaven and its retreating civilians. Would you please recount the day."
"I would love to," Zin spoke, looking around the room. "But I can't. I wasn't there."
The crowd muttered excitedly, interrupted by Spy intentionally coughing loudly. When they quietened again, he spoke. "You say you weren't there, Zinrius. Matthew, however, says otherwise. Matthew, please speak."
Matthew sighed and stood up. "I'm sorry, Zin, but I can't lie about this." He turned to the crowd. "Zinrius was there, commanding the army. I spoke to him. I saw him with my own eyes. He ordered the burning of Seahaven." The crowd muttered again for a moment, before stopping.
"Wait a minute, this should be simple to prove," Asi said, standing up. "Surely, Zinrius would have been given the position of commanding the army by someone else. Mountbatten? Wokka? Sneaky? Someone should remember giving him the role if it truly was him."
Spy nodded. Louis stood up from the crowd. "It's true. I offered the position to Zinrius, and he accepted it. Zi-"
"That's a lie!" Zin cried across the room.
Mountbatten ignored him. "Zinrius was at Seahaven during the battle. He commanded the army."
"You're lying to everyone, Mountbatten! Why would I command the army? Why wouldn't you, hmm?"
Mountbatten looked away and sat down. The crowd muttered again, louder this time, before demanding an answer from Louis. Spy gave him a look, and Louis nodded, before standing again. "Because I was at a separate battle. A battle in which the notorious criminals, Proz, Towler and Prisoner 697 were captured."
Zin stared at Mountbatten. "Tell them you're lying about me, Mountbatten. Tell them the truth!"
"I am telling them the truth, Zin. I'm sorry."
"The truth? Clearly I'm the only one in this room who can tell the truth, so here it goes! Prisoner 697 is innocent! He was part of a covered up operation devised by Mountbatten!" The crowd gasped at this sudden revelation. "He was paid to burn down that small neighbourhood! That's right! CUT paid Prisoner 697 to burn your houses!"
"That's enough!" Spy yelled.
"No, no it's not!" Zin retorted. "When 697 escaped from prison with Proz, it was planned by CUT! They had inside men! Ghost was sent to cover the tracks while you all slaved away, trying to find the prisoners, believing you were helping your Empire!"
Haxx leaned over to Louis. "We can't let him say anymore!" He whispered. "He could spill countless secrets!"
Louis nodded. "Send an Agent in."
"Right." Haxx turned to Inv. "Grab him."
Inv stood up, thinking, deciding. "No!" He yelled. "Zinrius is right! CUT have lied to you countless times!"
"What the hell are you doing?" Haxx demanded through gritted teeth.
"My friend Random tried to find the truth, and they arrested him for it!"
Derek stood up. "This yelling hurts my ears!"
"ORDER"! Spy yelled. "I'm tired of this! This, this constant yelling! This is a courtroom! This is a civilised room where we decide the fate of our people in a civilised way! You, all of you, seem to have forgotten that!" He sighed as the crowd sat back down quietly. "Zinrius, I'm sorry, but the evidence says you were there. There's no fighting that anymore. Invunarble, take Zinrius away without any 'ifs' or 'buts'. Random was arrested for treason, and that case has been closed, just as this one now is."
Inv sighed and slowly trudged over to Zin, who went sadly with him out of the room.

Tanis stepped into the giant tree, admiring its beauty. It was good to be home. Quietly, he shot a vine up to his house, and went to sleep, locking the door and blocking the windows. Nobody could know he was here. Not yet.

Welwyn opened the door of his new home indefinitely. The Escapian army would not get away with what they did. Tekland was rich with resources, and anyone with a bit of starting money could quickly build a small industrial power. He would build. He would create weapons. He would forge an army out of Seahaven survivors and others that shared his desire for revenge against Escapia and the Griefers. He would find Louis, Matthew and Zin, and anyone else responsible for the attack, and he would make them know the pain he felt as he left. It would be a long journey, but he had no other choice. For now, however, he was alone.

LS rolled out of his small, cold bed, landing on the colder ice with a thud. Drowsily, he picked himself up and looked around. It was night. Something had woken him up. Cautiously, he grabbed his bow and five arrows. He looked around. His igloo was dark, and after a couple of days of work on it, he was yet to make it feel anything like home. Like Frost.
A groan echoed out in the distance. That was what woke him up. Another groan. He quickly exited the igloo, to see five creatures in the distance. The flesh eating ones. The zombies.
Three of the group noticed him and quickly crossed the ice towards him. LS had never encountered a zombie before. They were so rare, he'd only heard stories, but he knew they were dangerous. These things along with the other creatures managed to take an entire area from the Escapian Empire. He took a deep breath and drew his arrow.
One.
The first zombie fell.
Two.
The next fell.
Three.
The third did not. It stood there, arrow in its chest, and kept walking. Horrified, LS smacked it with his bow twice, before the ice broke, sending the zombie into the freezing depths of the ocean.
He quickly shot at the other two, before retiring back to his igloo and blocking up the doorway. He'd never fought one zombie. Now he was fighting five on the same night. What was going on?

Were you here during the Ver2 nightly defenses of Central? There was a cuboid derp that allowed griefers to break torches and prevented us from replacing them. so after 2 days Central was dark at night.

this was also just after mobs came to SMP. We banded together each night and ran through the town in glorious combat to keep it safe.

Nope I came after Fyra was released, but carter and I used to have epic battles of our own out in south fyra, where every night hundreds (bit of an overexaggeration) of mobs descended upon our small house. That is the reason the house in my south fyra is floating, it was our way of protecting ourselves. We couldn't go out at night until I built twin mob towers, which managed to suck enough mobs at some times so going outside was bearable.

Slight point, I have a full on factory, and more than "starting funds" in tekkit. I do have a secret lab in tekkit, that I have been testing nuke cannons with, and remote launching them via computercraft. It's fun :P

Hmm... last time I counted its nearing 4000 blocks of TNT.
Its a lovely little island of handmade terrain, grassy topped with mod's houses and stone underneath with glowstone lamps hanging from it. and that's all just a 1 block thick shell between the outside and the TNT core of the island.
