Currently I've got GCSE's going on (along with Delphi and aro) so i am very stressed. On top of that i haven't bothered to revise cos im smart like that!

So does anyone have stress relieving techniques i could use?

(this is the sort of idea of these forums right?)

Revision, helps to keep you in a sane type of mind.

Soothing music like jazz and bass helps.

Go to a shooting range (if you live in the city). There ain't nothing like the smell of gunpowder to make you calm and happy.

I like this guy.

You could always try martial arts. Nothing like a good sparring match to calm the nerves.

The absolute worst thing to relieve stress in this particular situation is to sit around at home and do anything involving "content delivery" eg surfing the internet/playing videogames/watching TV etc.

Having been through the same thing myself not too long ago, I would strongly advise a short jog. Nothing strenuous but enough to get you sweating a little and your heart-rate going. You'll be quite literally amazed at how much better you feel afterwards.

As a general rule I feel I should add that this technique also works very well when attempting to cool off during a particularly heated argument, though I would recommend you reserve it for those "over the phone or internet" disputes as the object of your frustration is going to be a little confused if you just run off mid-fight.

I would go with Wokka's advice, if all fails, then Lords advice, it that fails too for some odd reason you should totally share with us, then I would suggest you force a smile.

Yes, forcing a smile can release happy endorphins in your brain regardless.

So smile like you've never forced a smile before!

Is that the reason it's bullshit? In terms of terminology I would've expected that to be pretty simple stuff to learn, as well as something you'd learn early on.

I love English exams! You don't need to study for them.

I have a 3 hour composition exam Wednesday where we're expected to write a decent short story/speech/personal essay/whatever, and then a 3 and a half hour one on Thursday covering poetry, a comparative study (novel, film, and play), and a Shakespearean text (Hamlet).

It's a nice way to start off the exams.

Bah the RS exam was a piece of cake.
English exam was... annoying.
Comparing poems, "Tramp" and "Decomposition"
.....whah?
And dupe when it comes to english exams where you have to write something yourself, i excell at those. And i rather enjoy them :)

And will... stress relief, i could give you all kinds of advice but only one would be useful, and lord was on the right track.
