Escapecraft

Hey guys, seeing as this is a gaming community i hope some of you guys have experience developing/programming games.
I was hoping someone could give me advice on how to get started with it? Not the design/drawing aspect, the coding side of things. Im a complete noob so try to word it as simply as possible XD
Like websites with tutorials or just give me some advice from personal experiences, i dont mind.

I went the webprogramming route to make games with JS/HTML/PHP, which I do not recommend as nobody ever takes games like that seriously. I suppose learning how to code in C/C++ would be the best route. Search up C++ tutorials on Google and I'm sure you'll find something.

Ask Luke(2006) he created a game and people on the forums have played it. Pretty good
