Oh nice, I just got Saints Row 3 for free from a friend, it's freaking awesome.

How does 2 compare to 3?

I've always wanted to try Saints Row.
Are 2 and three the type of games that you could play without missing any plot elements if you hadn't played the first?

I recently picked up saints row 3 without playing either of the previous two and I can safely say that the story is easy enough to piece together without the prior experience of the first two. So no worries Skunk, the game is highly enjoyable whether you know the full story or not!
