Blizzard Games
Just pointing out that Hearthstone is now Free to Play and the Starcraft 2 starter edition (the free version) gives you a butt-tonne thats in the full game and is only missing out the Campaign, matchmaking, ranked and experience leveling.
But wait theres more! If you do something called "Spawning" with a player whom has the full version of starcraft 2, (Me for example) then you will gain access to pretty much all of the game bar leveling and the campaign. You also get a cool new avatar that's damn cute
Carry on.

Re: Blizzard Games
I'm so terribly unexcited for Blizzard's latest attempt to ride the wave of decade-old IPs even longer.

Re: Blizzard Games
I'm new to the IP's and stayed far from WoW etc so I don't mind
Also the Starcraft 2 arcade is pretty damn good

Re: Blizzard Games
And people called Nintendo dried up...
Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo. Rinse and repeat. Those are some nice 3 IPs you have there, guys. Though I suppose I can hardly accuse them of franchise fatigue since they seem to take so bloody long between sequels to those same old IPs (not including WoW, which is just getting sad now). I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see a "World of Starcraft" pop up once WoW finally dies the death.

I've never played any of these games, but think about getting a Diablo game every once in a while.

Re: Blizzard Games
I've yet to try Starcraft, might enjoy it.
And while the division of opinion on WoW is clear I really have no idea what everyone sees in Diablo 2.

Dude, D2 is the best of the Diablo games. I haven't played it in 70 bajillion years, but nostalgia, damnit.Lord_Mountbatten wrote:And while the division of opinion on WoW is clear I really have no idea what everyone sees in Diablo 2.
I will also state my opinion about WoW again; Buy it, play through 'til max level, quit. There is nothing else to that game, don't stick around and do useless achievement hunting like I did. End game content is just a giant puzzle of tedium and not worth it. The leveling up to max was always fun to me, though.

Re: Blizzard Games
Nostalgia is what kept Super Mario World as my #1 game of all time on top, but Fallout 3 is what dethroned it. Y'know, opinions are not objective anyway, so nostalgia or not, all games I find to be good games are still good games to me specifically. Embrace your nostalgia. Feed on it. Mine is Blackknight#6585. Atm I'd be up for either Hearthstone or some Diablo 3, haven't gotten around to installing Heart of the Swarm yet.
