Killing Floor.

Now, I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should buy a couple of games (Killing Floor, Amnesia, & Super Meat Boy), and, I was wondering, how many people here regularly play Killing Floor? Because if the answer is "Loads. Like everyone." Then I'll get it. =]

Also, I'm wondering. How does it compare to L4D & L4D2, because I have both of those.

While still a zombie killing game, compared to the L4D's, killing floor is very different. There is no story line and its based around survival rather than running to the end of a map. The English accents and slang give the game comedic relief and having NO gun crosshairs makes it more challenging and fun (you'll get used to it (there ARE iron sights which help a lot)). My friends and I play it all the time, the fact that there is no story and most of the maps are fun gives the game a replay value thats through the roof. Its an awesome game, GET IT
Amnesia from what understand is a good unique scary game, and super meat boy is a good platformer (opinion>) with a dodgey jump function.

I know some of the Ops and I play Killing Floor ever so often, but I can't speak for other players.

There's much more replayability in KF than there is L4D for me. I own all three and KF is the only one I can come back to without getting bored.

I would purchase KF and Amnesia. Both solid games.

Honestly, the only thing I have against Killing Floor is its lack of proper voicework.

Other than that, It's just an awesome game you can pick up and play very easily.

Also, you should totally get Amnesia. It can be a little demanding on your system, but there's no better panic-inducing frightfest on the market, believe me.

Well, I bought Killing Floor.

Lord, Ninja, and Haxx, among several others, suckered me in to playing 6.3 hours. In a day. And I've only had it a day. =L

Still having fun on this. :D This time we came across the cursed grenade launchers, and Taint and I had to fight off a wave on our own at the same time as a mutual ping spike.

Protip: if someone recently bought a real nice and shiny grenade launcher, stand in from of them!

They'll thank you later!

I'm attempting to rediscover my steam account because I want to get Amnesia (if I ever get the damn password right), but I may get this at some point in the future.

It'll likely have stopped being fun and popular by then though. :P

Question.

Is it a FPS? If so im probably not going to get it although a combination of portal and oblivion is slowly making me come round to the First person type of game

That was previously, because you went off to get the cursed grenade launcher in the first place. And we ended up split up and against a load of them.

Yes, it is an FPS. It wouldn't really work otherwise.
