I'm new to Hammer but I'm trying to learn how to make maps. Anyone else here know anything useful?

Eeeh, all I know is that I found Quark easier to work with. I doubt you could make as fancy stuff though.

I second this, I have not used Quark since Quake 1 and 2 but I found it to be nice and some what easy to use.

I'll try that one too, although I already know all the basics of Hammer.
