Heroes of Newerth

So, for those that don't know, Heroes of Newerth is a game strongly influenced by the infamously popular Warcraft III custom map DotA. Games can be either 5v5 or 3v3, depending on the map, with both sides trying to ultimately destroy the opposing team's base. You control a single hero, and by leveling up and buying items you and your team must work together to overpower the other team.

Now, HoN, like DotA, is infamous for its, how should I put it, -hostile- community. Because a single bad teammate can ruin the game by "feeding" the other team (being killed repeatedly without getting many, if any, kills or assists), people can get very frustrated.

I made this thread to make the game more enjoyable for those who wish to play, by helping those interested, either with answering questions, providing advice, or playing together in a group (much friendlier!).

It recently went Free-2-Play, which means you can...play for free!
