Well, I took a quick peek, didnt see a thread League related, theres an HoN thread, but no League? wuuut?
Anyways, first of all dominion is on its way. yay. But more importantly, I'm sure I'm not the only one, I'm usually up for games if I'm on. Most the time I'm playing custom, getting used to the feel of champs or practicing last hitting, or jungling. If theres any new players who wouldnt mind some advice, I may not be the best, but I'm still good :/

I've always been tempted to try one of those DOTA style games, but they just seem so... anti-newb. I imagine I'd spend half my time getting yelled at for not being good enough, and the other half getting frustrated by even more inept team mates.

You pretty much summed them all up right there.

Playing with friends significantly removes that though, it really does make a huge difference rather than just queuing up by yourself.

Yeah.. people flip the f*** out at bad teammates, although if the person knows they just need practice I dont mind helping them out. And also, when you start out, you start at your own tier, so everyone around you will be bad, and if you have natural talent for the game you can be surrounded by people you hate at all time! sounds fun right!?

Basically this is one of those "practice makes perfect" games. There are ways to be unskilled and just play OP chars, or you can actually try to enjoy a character who requires skill and practice, and makes you feel good when things go perfectly right.

When I started I was like "Oh man, how do these people think so fast on the spot, then execute it perfectly!!??!!11 I'll never figure out how to do that" But now I'm getting close to that, getting moments, but sometimes I let those moments get to my head then I just get cocky, jump in and die, and then sadface.

Dont ever think dieing is always a bad thing, its always good to know the limits of your character and build... Just dont do it too often... thats when people get mad.

Lastly, dont think that just because you have no kills and a few deaths, that your doing bad, Assists count too! my most recent game I went 2-1-20 with jarvan, I was tanking. Setting up 20 kills for your team is a huge advantage to the group as a whole.

I play every coupleof days i'm not the best but i'm a alright, usually play gangplank as who doesn't like a pirate

Ninjas... Shen Akali Kennen..... And MissFortune hunts pirates who killed her family, soo... she doesnt like them either... But its hard to resist the occasional "YARR!" I will say that much...

Tryndamere is OP.

HoN has a much more hardcore player base. If you screw up in that game everyone will hate you, whereas in LoL, Most of the people seem a lot more laid back. Every now and then you will come across someone who belongs in HoN.

I play most of the time when I'm not minecrafting with my mates from real life. We usually have a full group and love playing this game. We also love hating on each other for failing and raging at each other xD

Also Tyndamere is OOP (Over over powered). That is all.

Morde used to be op, but I think they finally balanced him decently at this recent patch, I stopped playing him a while ago because it was boring. Also, your username was not found for some reason, tried uncapped "a" and cap. "A" neither worked :'(

It's a uncapped "a" but i had this problem with undead for some reason

1. Destroy enemy nexus (right at the back of their base)

It's alright with slowish computers but depends really how slow it is

20+ mins to start up and very bad fps on magicka slow

I kind of want to play this game, but I don't want to deal with morons going around screaming and insulting eachother for not using some "build" online.

I don't think that we're that bad. Where did you get this impression from?

You don't need to follow builds if you know how your champ plays and how you want to play.

If you play a couple of games with people that aren't going to rip your heads off, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun
