Escapecraft

looks interesting.

I find it odd you'd show an older video than the one in the Escapist article, but here's some info from the maker:

Blockade Runner requires these exact files (not the upgraded versions),

DirectX 9.0c (not 10-11 or anything lower then 9.0c),

.NET Framework 3.5 (Not 4.0),

XNA 3.1 (Not 4.0+)

Shader 2.0 (This is a graphics card requirement.)

all those requirements are for me a downside (it's a lot of stuff to install)
but they apparently are working on getting rid of those oddly specific requirements.

In any case, it looks exciting, particularly since Notch hasn't expressed any intent on any sci-fi space stuff for Minecraft.

Looks pretty cool. Might get it some day.

the bloody .net instaler is broken so it crashes on startup for me
