Star Trek Online Escapecraft Fleet.

Star Trek Online has now gone free to play and I jumped on the chance to start playing as soon as I could.
The nice thing is that the difference between Free and Paid is rather small. You can get away with playing free and be able to do everything you want to do with out paying for anything at all. Even then you can also get in game currency that will allow you to trade for the {C} currency. Dilithium is given as an award for doing daily quests, events, ect... and can be traded for the real life money currency called Cryptic points (Or {C})
I will admit that getting enough Dilithium does take while and perhaps its better just to use real money to get {C} but if you are feeling really determined you can just use Dilithium and get the points.
As you level up and gain ranks you get a free ship. You start off at Ensign for the tutorial and then move on to Lieutenant. At Lieutenant rank you start off with a Light Cruiser and then once you reach Lieutenant Commander you have the choice of three ship types, Cruiser, Escort or Science Vessel. Depending on your career its important to go with the one that will work for your career.
You can also buy ships as well so you are not limited to just the free ships you get as you rank up.
I want to also talk about Escapecraft Fleet and what it will be... well... it will be a Escapecraft Guild, they call it Fleet in the game.
I've gone and tried to sell the game and how its free to play and not to hard to get into. So anyone interested in joining up into the Fleet? I would have it created now but I need to have 5 other players me as a team before I can create a fleet. Anyone interested in being one of the five founding members place post here so we can figure out when we can get together and get the fleet created.
