Makes me wonder what sort of scale this will be, assuming it goes ahead. Minecraft made a lot of money, sure, but can Mojang really afford to jump straight into AAA games publishing? If not, does that mean the game will end up as an XBLA/PSN release? Or just a shorter release like the stand alone Portal? Will they be marketing the game? Or just relying on the word of mouth buzz generated by the phrase "Tim Schafer backed by Notch!"?

they already made all thier publishing money back from Cobalt. any Cobalt sales now (indirectly) go toward Psychonaughts 2.
