Xbox One

So from what I've gathered, new xbox is basically an entertainment system rather than a game console. Y'know, special voice commands, fancy hand controls, having to pay for everything... I am disappoint.
What's you guys' opinions on it?

Basically yours. While I don't think the current Xbox is completely up to scratch against others in aspects, hardwarewise, recent games, like Halo 4, have shown that even that technology can be used very well. And Xbox games are often awesome. And now we can't even carry games across, all for the sake of blu-rays, which I don't particularly feel like paying for anyway.
Gah.

Microsoft "hey, look. The XBox has some really great features, and some all right ones which could easily be worse! Guess which ones we used!!!!"

This classic gif pretty much sums up my reaction to every Microsoft announcement now:
Seriously I think this is some kind of elaborate insurance fraud. Like burning down their equivalent of a bar.

Huh, so I guess Microsoft finally toppled over to the masses of angry consumers against some of the new Xbox One features - DRM, regional lockouts, and used game restrictions are all gone. Rejoice!

I think I may actually buy one of these this upcoming Christmas now...

What it really say's is the features everyone hates will still come with the Xbox One package. Microsoft will active them at a later date.

Think he means that Xbox have only announced this to get people to buy the bloody thing, then when the masses have bought it, will go back and unmake these changes, and say something like "We at Microsoft decided it would be more beneficial if we DID shove one of our fingers up your butt and kept another in your pocket at all times."

I would have thought that, now that they have seen the anger it incites in fans, they won't risk adding them again. But that would be awfully close to logic from the gaming industry.

"Microsoft reserves the right to change policy at any given time for any matter whatsoever"

My guess is the DRM restrictions will still be shipped out with the first batch of Xbones & you will need to do a day one up date to "remove" them. That would be easier than having Microsoft recall all the Xbones that have already been made and change the software themselves. .

Day One of Xbone release: "Oh, it seems that we "could not" be able to turn off our DRM, sorry for the inconvenience!"

It's not going to happen. They've already u-turned when they realised they were killing off an immense amount of sales before they'd even released, they're not going to risk it again. They may be idiots, but they do still want money first.

Since it hasn't been posted yet.
As for useful comment? idk man, xbone just isn't winning me over. Maybe if titanfall was exclusive, but see image for details.
Might get a PS4 (probably if bungie doesn't make a pc port of destiny)

Well to be honest it is trying to make people like it by changing what people don't like....in some strange, idiotic way

I still find it worrying that Microsoft were stupid enough to try it in the first place. Now I'm sure Sony would if they thought they could get away with it, but they didn't. The fact that Microsoft needed hordes of screaming gamers to tell them they were being moronic is not a good sign, even if they do eventually change it.

The folks at microsoft seem to be trying to sell their products before everyones ready for them in a way. Case in point the Windows 8 software, designed for touchscreens but few people have touchscreen monitors.
They need to slow down for their consumers, and also realise that they can't force their "great innovations" (See: Always listening) onto the public without some form of backlash.
