Well, I watched CNN and they said that over 20,000 people have quit jobs because they believe that tomorrow they will be "beamed" up to Heaven and the people who didn't believe the world was going to end tomorrow will suffer 5 months of watching the world end. (They say it will start to end tomorrow, but actually end on October 21... my mom's birthday...)

What's funny about this is that the guy who has made this prediction had to have studied the Bible for his "formula."

If he took some more time he would also find that the Bible also says:
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Matthew 24:36-44 NIV
Read all of Matthew 24 for more context. It goes into all of that stuff.

I am officially scared. I searched on Google: May 21 Doomsday and it said that earthquakes will start to happen in Japan and at 6:00 in the U.S., more earthquakes will happen.

I still don't think the world's gonna end tomorrow, though.

If there was a Thumbs feature on this forum, I'd give you a thousand for those 5 words.

I'll take on a zombie apocalypse. Give me a gun and a good stash of ammo and I'll be good to go.

And... he's wonderful."

I woke up today so it obviously didn't happen. Well at least we still got 2012 to go for.

All it means, as Harold Camping predicted, that you aren't worthy - the world is supposed to end October 21st - May 21st was when the worthy were spirited away.

Well he should have made it clearer. 5 months you say, that'll give me just enough time to terraform mars and build a spaceship to get there. Happy days!

Edit: Wouldn't they have realized by now that 200 million people have vanished off the face of the Earth anyway?
