hiya!,
well i was downloading a texture pack and i logged on an i found the server was "outdated" i looked at the top of the screen and found it said 1.6.6 :L balls was the first thing that popped into my head, it seems it has automatically upgraded to 1.6.6 :L as i forgot to backup i can not go back..
i will not be on again until the server updates..so...tata for now!

Installing texture packs auto-updates your client. Happened to me when we went to 1.3.

Ummm, no. I've updated Painterly twice since I've come back, and it most certainly doesn't auto-update anything but the textures.

Maybe it only affects packs that need to use the MCPatcher.

As far as I know, Painterly doesn't.

yes i think dupe is right.i have installed painterly many times and nothing but the textures changed. but using the MC patcher seems to auto update your client! :L
