MLP- FIS (we're a pretty cool guy)
Re: MLP;FIS
Actually, that's the second thread. The first was the one with all the jokes about Ponyvile.

Re: MLP;FIS
I just watched the first four episodes. I seriously don't have any clue why everyone loves it so much.

Eh, I might watch two more tonight. Nothing better to do, since Minecraft bored me.

Re: MLP;FIS
Well, I'm 7 episodes in, and I still don't really get why everyone loves it as much as they do. I kind of feel the same way about Spongebob. I don't see anything great about it, but it's a decent cartoon. Better than the stuff on Cartoon Network and whatnot.
One complaint though: the opening credits, or whatever you call them. Reminds me of music for a toddler's toy infomercial.

Hey, I'll admit it's not to everyone's liking. People have different tastes. I find the show to be entertaining, but not to the degree that I've become what I'd call a "fanboy." Some people like it in an extreme way, and some don't like it at all. No worries if you fall into the latter category.

That's because this show has existed before, and it's the same music. I used to hear it on adverts for pre-FIM merchandise, back when nobody here would've even considered going near the franchise.Sti_Jo_Lew wrote:One complaint though: the opening credits, or whatever you call them. Re: MLP;FIS
I thought it sounded familiar. I kind of fall into the middle of the road. I don't dislike the show, but I won't watch it if I have others I want to or have to do. I'll probably watch an episode every now and then, if I'm feeling bored of games at 1 am and can't sleep.Lord_Mountbatten wrote:That's because this show has existed before, and it's the same music. ...The post we're talking about was much, much, more recent.
Because you see, Hytro's original post for THAT still has all the links. So, Bum's quote containing it is irrelevant.
Although I can't even find this supposed post by Bum...

There's a difference between linking humanized bikini-shots (No matter how eye-gouging they are..) and directly linking to a deviant art profile where the majority of content is cartoon pornography.
