I just put my Pandora station on and listen to either progressive metal or my hard rock/metalcore station.

Mostly bands like Angra, Dream Theater, Andromeda, Breaking Benjamin... anything around that genre really.

I find either The Shins or Smashing Pumpkins are usually good for that.
