Well, here's a quick sketh I did. I'm going to attempt to color it in GIMP then I'll post the results.

My character modeled and imported to Unity. No animations, or texturing yet, and you might notice that I derped with the UV map in a few places, but overall I'm happy with it.

No problem luke. Looks pretty cool. I was going to do mine in charcoal grey with maroon at the tips of the spikes.

Also, that character model looks pretty cool.

I hope you don't me having a go as well. I don't know what it is but there's something more satisfying about painting over somebody else's work vs creating your own from scratch.

Here's a tank design I made for NationStates whilst I was making fun of their unnerving adherence to role play.

I call it the XBMormonator Mrk. IV. It's the first of its type.

As you can see, it has triple-plated durable iron armour fittings, which is why it looks extra detailed. I didn't include exact measurements or specifications because in the design industry that counts as a wild card, like *, so that anyone wanting to manufacture a tank of a similar design doesn't feel restricted.

Note the sloping characteristic of the tank. I did this to enhance camouflage features as much as possible. The turret of the tank can fire 30m calibre shells to a distance of several parsecs, so it is not the best at range, but this is alright for a first try I think.

Speedy things aside jake, how long does it take you to actually make one of your artworks? They're all flavours of winsauce

I did. He liked and favorited the video on youtube, and I've been flooded with comment notifications ever since. I don't normally use my channel for much so this is by far the most attention it's ever seen.

People also seemed to really like the music. I was gonna use something from RAGE's own soundtrack, but I've had Super Meat Boy stuck in my head all week and this track was about the right length.

You can tell how long this one took by watching my system clock in the lower corner. I think it was around an hour 15 mins. Generally it varies though. A high resolution painting with lots of detail can take a lot longer. I think 9 hours is the most I've spent on a digital painting, but I've had art exams that were 12-15 hours back when I used charcoal.
