Just found this xbox version of minecraft on the escapist

While the names are suspiciously similar, lets remember that Minecraft is not the first of its kind by any means either and is, in fact, a copy of other past games itself.

well yes but theres not exactly a proper genre and its easier to just say minecraft-type game as everyone know what you mean
