It is. 
My spine, not so much, but it's not surprising to me; there's a genetic disorder runs in my family called ankylosing spondylitis, and it's causing new bone growth in my neck that's pinching the spinal cord. >_< This was just from a checkup to make sure it's not affecting me neurologically in some way.
