thats the OLD passport you fool!

The now ones have a little golden Japanese flag thing at the bottom with a line through the middle

That's the little RFID symbol, means it can be scanned by their new tech at immigration and you can use the E-Gate things where they scan your face.
Dead cool. Liiiittle bit creepy.
