I hate it when people are in trade, finish the trade, and then carry on chatting about previous trades, something a friend of theirs almost traded, but didn't, and evrything else similar. (yes, i know I have)

Sounds like the light-version of a moderators daily routine .

I own a town, Deephaven (see the group) that is underwater. this means that building easily requires sponges. I have spent a reasonable a mount of time creating sponges in cauldrons, which is quite time consuming. i had got it up to 29, and lent 3 to each of my 2 inhabitants. Recently, person X decided to build here, and brought some of his own sponges, yet also took a lot of mine. I got cross, all caps etc,. because X claimed they didn't have them. It turned out he did, and he left my town. abandoning his half completed building. Curse you, person X.
Please reply as to how justified myself/person X was.

What's an Anecdote?

From my understanding, an anecdote is usually a story of a personal nature, in essence a story about something that actually happened to the teller.

Ok ok I got a pretty kewl one then:

I know they're right (which makes it worse), but I keep unintentionally infringing on a landclaim near to where I build, and the people there keep on getting over annoyed at me, which is completely unjustified, and I have completely distanced myself from it in a calm and detached manner... ish... sort of, maybe... yeah.

people who get annoyed when, attempting to light netherrack, get in th eway, and I set fire to th eblock they're standing on, however it's hilarious, and good for AFKers, not that I do it regularly. Once someone was AFK, and I encased them in Obsidian. they were vexed.

AFK boxing is fun

it was also far more prevelant on Escapia II where even Mods were boxed up

Whenever i see anyone AFK in a buildable area i tend to box em up... Although there was a time ages ago when davejavu boxed me up so i got revenge by boxing him in a 6 block think box of obby. He was afk for an hour and i remembered where he logged out. Also i didnt realise he had no pick....

Anytime I box anyone up its with dirt... so even then they can still get out.

with obby it's fun, or use dirt, and put a lava source on top.
there was one time someone was standing in a sponged bit of water, and I removed the sponge.

No... this is still against the rules... You made the trap which kills them. By Rule of the server you can only have a trap on your property with signs clearly saying "Do not enter my (Whatever) if you do you will be killed by a (insert trap here)"
Anything other then this is against the rules and can lead to a Warning... which will then lead to a temp ban and if continuation of this will lead to a perm-ban.

Think of this as a Unofficial Verbal Warning... and in case you think "Well the mods can't know who placed what" yes we can... so we will know if you have or not.
