I'm interested to know what you guys think about Mountbatten and how he's alive to this day serving as our dear OP+.

To make it short for all those who do not know, Mountbatten was on a jolly boat fishing some lobsters when a bomb went off inside the vessel, devastating the boat and leaving Mountbatten fatally wounded then drowning in the waters as he fainted. Nearby Fishermen took aboard his corpse (no disrespect of course).

Yet he's with us to this day, how do you think he survived all these years? Keep in mind, this happened around 1980-ish and he was around 80 years of age.

Quite simple, really. The relaxed mood on the yacht had him halfway to an out-of-body state, and the blast did the rest to separate his consciousness from what was now an empty husk. Free to roam, he found a new home in the spare cycles of the Internet. Given his current sense of humor, I suspect he was instrumental in the formation of things like 4chan...

Is'nt it obvious? He's quite clearly the second jebus and has returned to save us from the many trolls. Either that or his company is managing to scam people into giving him eternal life

Lord Mountbatten Never Dies, somebody else just takes up the mantle and assumes his persona, channeling his immortal soul in thier body for him to use.

Similar to the Doctor Regenerating or the introduction of a new James Bond, Lord Mountbatten will always live on.

What are you talking about? He quite clearly said himself that he survived that explosion. You shouldn't always read Wikipedia you know, anyone can edit it.

He made a deal with a Daedric Prince to be given new life and the powers to terrorize the world ones more.

There are a number of possibilities, but here at the Skunk Historical Research Facility, we believe that Lord Louis Mountbatten is clearly a zombie, raised from the dead by none other than the Crab People themselves. The Crab People wanted to use him as a weapon against humanity, but Louis simply cooked them, ate them, and then became an OP here at Escapecraft.
