What a year!

Today marks a year(ish) since i first logged on to escapecraft and almost left before being told by laptop_mini (i think) that i had only logged onto a temp map (due to the 1.2 update). After seeing the actual map for the first time i was glad i stuck around. Since then ive Become a leader of the USSR, Worked my ass off in the Imperial City and the Fire Temple, been lead to believe Lathania was a girl and have received a bad first impression with the poor excuse for an elite organisation, CUT. (how can you call yourself elite when you let people like Derek join.)
Ive been the first person to witness the first ever Raven Empire attacks, ive lived through the Awokkalypse, Seen the Nether be introduced into the server when it was only accessed by 4 locations hidden around Terra. Ive seen the Hub, fyra, the past maps and the other additions all be slowly added in. Ive been to the mighty Flower Tower, the Giant Hourglass, explored the RSTP, found Sneakypie's home within a few days of Fyra opening, and have traveled to what is known now only as the worlds crappiest and largest ghost town, Corinth aswell as many other locations. Ive helped lead the USSR into battle across multiple faction servers and helped with its own prosperity here on this server and helped it through its losses (including the loss of a leader).
Ive built my very own City in the sky, Solar City, and built the 'majestic' Twisted Towers in Fyra, a PvP-Big-Build winner (which earnt me over a 3 month long royalty status
), a large bowling ally and what will be a monolithic gothic church in creative. Ive hosted my own 'Aussie time friendly' Spleef tournament (which i won 
), managed to attend 1 Fireside/Q&A chat, Shindig and several other weekly events that had me up at 6am. Not only have i done all this in the game, but ive voiced my opinion (be it derpy at times) throughout the forums on serious and just plain silly matters.
Ive made many friends along the way during my 16 days and 5.5 hours on the server and i do NOT consider this time wasted. I look forward to surviving another year with you F***ed up lot and i wouldnt want it any other way! (well maybe with less ponies...)
