My IQ is 144 and im 11 whats yours?

Where to begin...

First of all, if you took some online test it's probably wrong.

Second of all, IQ is relative and based on averages. If you actually took a credible test then well done, all you've proven is that you have a higher IQ than other children in your age group, not adults.

Thirdly, you shouldn't really care, because as far as I can tell IQs aren't really a very good indicator of intelligence, and intelligence is not something I gauge in someone by listening to their test results. It's far more easy to gauge through continuous interaction with that person.

Also, people who wave their IQs around the place are dicks. I prefer smart people who don't need to have their intelligence confirmed by some petty test. Insecure much.

I just took an online IQ test with the intention of answering every question wrong. Unfortunately I still scored an IQ of 20. A cookie to anyone who can get a 0.

I was just intrested how much other people have.

If it's like the one I took then it takes time into account.

I took a legit test in University as part of a class and got 120.

Though like Batten said, an IQ number isn't exactly reflective of how intelligent someone is.

If I recall correctly, it was originally used to decide who got to be cannon fodder in the first world war, so that's fun.

I have taken several legitimate tests, and scored within the range of 140-145.

Edit: For clarification, most of those tests were variations of the Stanford-Binet.

Taken a few tests like this, scored within the 120-130 mark. Average of your age group is always 100. meaning half the population is below. Does this mean that half the population is stupid? No, just not as 'bright' as the other half of the population.

Another thing to take into consideration is this: Of those with highest IQ's, who has the most general knowledge, or life skills. I'd bet that the majority of "geniuses" couldn't survive a week in the wild.

These tests tend to mean nothing important, they are just numbers for statistical purposes.

I could say my IQ is over 9000 right now, but I bet it would make a fair amount of people want to give me a huge backhand.

On a serious note, some IQ tests I did last year-ish were in the 120-130 area, but I really don't think they accurately measure how dumb (or how smart) I am.

Yeah I know it doesn't really calculate how smart you are but I just saw on tv news that a girl of 4 has a IQ of 160 that's the same IQ as Bill gates!!!

but as you say. that doesn't mean anything.

People seem to forget that the human brain is one of the most complex things in existence and expect they can somehow measure it with a simple test.

Besides, intelligence isn't simply knowing facts and other information. Anyone can memorize facts and trivia. True genius, in my mind, is the way someone goes about solving problems and how they reach a solution and success.

All I'm going to say is mine is a) Good enough for Mensa, and b) High enough that I don't worry about it.

Do IQs under 100 actually exist? I've never met a single person who claimed to score less than 120. I guess I'm not getting a good cross section.

This. If we were going by what everyone said, everyone on the internet has above average intelligence or is a genius. I'm willing to bet several people in this thread haven't been honest, but hey, it's the internet.

No way. People don't tell lies on the Internet. That's only in portal sneaky.

I can personally say that my IQ has never been evaluated, nor do I care for it to be. I have better ways to waste my time.
