I'm starting a weekly contest. The only thing you must do is build a skin and submit it on this post. To kick it off the theme is Halloween. You can build anything a zombie, vampire, werewolf, etc. Just make a skin based off the theme. You will have a total of one week to create your skin and submit it. To enter just post that you want to compete, and when you have finished your skin submit it. We will start accepting skins October 14th, and end October 20th at 12:00PM server time.

The way the winners are picked is through a poll that lasts 2 days. I don't have judges voting, because I want to know what the community thinks. Here are the prizes, for First Place you get 3 diamonds. For Second Place get a gold block. For Third Place you get an iron block. Honorable Mention gets a block of lapis lazuli. Prizes can be improved through donations, and if this gets popular.

Contestants: I will make the next version of this contest's post look nicer next time. Also I might even wear one of the skins on Halloween

Er, would like to point something out with your reward system, according to current trade information, five gold is worth a diamond, since 1 gold block is 9 gold, second place's reward is actually worth more then first place's.

Then I will upgrade it.

Ok, I would like to enter this, but I have a few questions. What do we need to submit for our entry? Just the flattened image, or what the image looks like while on? I'm not sure if that made sense but I'm asking because I can't really even tell what LS13's submission even looks like. Also, how do I add images to the site? Will the site allow me to upload images or do I need to host them someplace and link them in?

All you need to submit is a picture of the skin like LS has. To add images go to the "Post Reply" button as usual, now if you go to the bottom of the page you will see a tab that says "Upload Attachment". Click on that and select your skin from your computer, and click the "Add File" button.

Yep, it's clearly superior as it's actually visible and i will stab anyone in the eyeballs that steals my skin. I'm serious.

I forgot to put rules -.- I guess it was because I was in a hurry. I'll add some, and yes it does have to be a custom skin.

I think you'll find I entered LS. I just don't like sharing the actual skin map for fear of it being stolen ;_; I also have eternal love for zin.

If I were a whale with overalls and suspenders as my face, I would have been sued by now from Whales for fraud. I'm going to take your skin now. Bet you feel insulted now!

I hope I didn't misunderstand the objective. Were we supposed to take our own skin and decorate it? I made a completely new one. I'm wearing it now for the holiday season. Here are some screen shots and the flat image thingy that my design tool spit out for me.

You did the right thing, and nice job on the skin it looks great!
