I get the feeling that most of these 45 pages consist of arguments.
I would suggest not increasing your level of democracy any further.

Dang. My post didnt post.
@Vol I think we should make the wall closer to the roads because IRL you try avoiding building on a cliff edge
@Lord That would make it too easy

I guarantee you, good sir, that page five of this forum thread has virtually no arguing displayed on its posts.Lord_Mountbatten wrote:I get the feeling that most of these 45 pages consist of arguments.

UPDATE:
A large amount of work has been done today! Thank you to everyone that helped.
Currently 9 seaside plots are ready to be developed! 2 have already been taken by Trovo and our new member Seymour. Everyone here will eventually gain a plot and we'll be starting on the second level of the town soon.
Also! After hours of violent bloodshed, we have finally come up with a name! I now christen the new town:Silver Coast,Saphiri Coast,Lizuli, Capiri, Cape Sandstone, Brick, Joytown, Twixt, Silver Bay!

Re: The USSR general discussion thread!
Someone came up with the idea of having deluxe island plots. So thats something to think about.

I agree, we should get a group of slaves volunteers to make the islands.jonnybo72 wrote:should we maybe get a builders team to make em?
also, ive noticed all of the miscomunications going around in the USSR, Im pretty sure it is because our english comrades cant understand what we americans are saying, so mount put together this guide to help us speak english.

As for the island plots can we stay building off the water until the mainland is full of housing first?

Re: The USSR general discussion thread!
A deluxe island? That sounds kind of neat actually. The question is I guess, what goes into a deluxe Island and who would be willing to build one?
A good place for it to be would be off our east coast. There's literally nothing up there.

Friend of the burger? I say thats a fair reason to join, i say yes. You will have to wait for the other 2 leaders (Vol and Byroe) to agree as welljfoushee wrote:Can i join the USSR

The USSR needs to assemble the finest team of builders possable.
With that in mind I recommend Jonny and Random as the first two candidates.

While I do agree with Mix, the idea of Island plots seems to have gotten popular. If someone joins the town we should at least make them aware of the plots. They can help make them or they an wait. I do think we should finish the mainland first however.Mixizm wrote:This would be fine... if the people wanting to move in didnt want the island plots.random980 wrote:As for the island plots can we stay building off the water until the mainland is full of housing first?
We maybe getting a little ahead of ourselves. The lighthouse isn't even done yet!
Sure. We'll see you in game. Unless Byroe or Sax has any objections.jfoushee wrote:Can i join the USSR

May I ask why we need the finest team of builders possible?Mixizm wrote:The USSR needs to assemble the finest team of builders possable.

Re: The USSR general discussion thread!
With the high demand on deluxe plots and large structures coming upon Silver Bay (Not to mention the need for slaves volunteer workers to help terra-form) a good team of builders and designers is just what the USSR needs right now. We'll also need people to construct embassys in other cities, and teams to compete in competitions on the USSR's behalf.May I ask why we need the finest team of builders possible?

random980 wrote:Wut? .-.Volstag9 wrote: @Random - This post is mostly devoted to you. I received a couple of complaints that you were not open to other people's ideas and that you only valued your own opinion. Specifically with the construction of the town. I know you started the project but you certainly don't entirely run this faction. You making design choices and not telling or consulting with us at all is not acceptable.
We talked yesterday about building two streets at different levels. This is fine and was discussed but then you said that we are not building out to sea at all. So basically, your asking for a two street town. That was never agreed upon.
My point is, you have to be more open to others' ideas. You can't design the whole place yourself. I want to have fun with this project not have it turn into argue and business.
If any of this is wrong please say so.
The only person i know to have complain was Mixizm, as he wanted free building and no plots like Saphiri originally had, i said no because we already have plans for the layout of the town, then he built a house on the ocean anyway >_>. I then put up a sign saying dont build ON the water, build facing it. Mix then helped dig out room for houses to face the ocean, like we had planned. Im not making selfish decisions or anything, im going with what we have already discussed and planned. I though we agreed not to build out/on/in the sea and would have all houses/buildings behind the boardwalk facing the ocean. (the exception of Mixizm because he already built his without really knowing.) As far as i know i havent even slightly argued with anyone else.
@THE FULK
YAAAAY FULK IS BACK, we need to organise a welcome back party for Fulk and Mix :3
@Invun That would be cool to have fort tusk under the USSR, The other leaders will need to agree, pleae provide some information on fort tusk though (like a link to your thread if you have one)
@Byroe We were going to have the meeting yesterday (1pm for me it was) Vol and I were online and you werent We should organise a day soon (Not on my Thursday though i have a GAT and a doctors appointment ) As for people sitting in im ok with it as long as they dont interrupt or talk over us and things like that, otherwise yes a booting they will get.
@Dom 1 stack sand for 1 stack light-wood planks? I have light planks so next time i see you on we will make the deal (ill give you that red and yellow dye too)
@Vall i cant speak for all of us, but we are rather busy making the new town and ironing out miscommunication problems, once things calm a bit we should get to work on that LL embassy.
Sorry, I haven't looked at le thread recently. Also, I recently have recently been recently very busy recently with very recent things, and haven't really gotten the time to make a Fort Tusk thread. But I will someday... if someone can freaking remind me.
Anyways, here's some features of FT:
- A massive crater outside the city
- A silly looking TNTree outside
- A very nicely built trade center (has four rooms)
- 7x7, 25 high 20 deep plots (encourages vertical building, yeah I know it's small :\)
- Mansion plots (coming soon)
- Public gardens for all residents to use
- Farmscape (Xan Krieger's build) is nearby
- A large ravine for residents to use as a mineshaft
- Automatic gates (You can't resist this one)
- The worst mob grinder in Escapecraft (it used to be good, I guess recent mob spawning rates have nerfed it's usefullness)
- A strip club (Coming soon!)
- Access to free testificates from TestifiCO.
- Access to Vallorn's crater redecoration skills 101
- A nether portal with a spawn room to protect new players, as well as a Ghast shooting tower
- An enchantment table that can get level 50 enchants almost always (Lol who doesn't have this?)
Take time to consider this, I hope you accept my proposal but if you feel FT will just drag down the USSR without any good coming from it, I'll understand if you want to deny this request.
